I took a whole lot of pictures. I'll probably upload some soon, but I'm tired today. It was a long road trip, for me at least, lasting nearly seven hours. Locked up in a car, my legs were dying for a stretch by the end of it. We only stopped once, to get some food and use the restrooms.

Zion is so beautiful. It's a wonderful place to take nature and animal pictures. Since it's a reserve, a lot of the animals aren't scared of people, and a few even come right up to you. I only managed to capture a buck on film, and I don't think it was a very good picture, either. Still, I might put it up, if only to have some variety in all of the other Zion pictures.

I love autumn and all of its magnificent colors, especially on the leaves. Autumn leaves fascinate me. I could probably take pictures of them all day, never running out of ways to arrange them all. Swapping nature scenes. I wish I had these perfect photo opportunities much more often. I was sad when I had to leave, but my family didn't have photo opportunities in mind. I think I took around seven hundred or so photos while my father only got about forty. I saw most of his, and they were absolutely lovely. If only he'd taken some more and actually tried to get good photos, I'm sure they would have been amazing. But it seems as though I'm the only passionate photographer in my family. Oh well, can't get all my genes from them. Maybe someone distant I never knew, though.

Photography may not run in my family, but art definitely does. My aunt, Kathy, and my mother like to paint and draw. My aunt also likes to do photo manipulation, and I think she's pretty good at it, too.

Well, better get going on the piles of homework I've been assigned over break...not that I will. No guarantees.
